Kevin is the front man for Spokane’s own 13MAG. Best way to describe their music: Hillyard Hardcore! Kevin plays on a custom shop MD. – Sadly 13MAG is no longer together but Kevin still shreds on his custom shop MD! The photo was taken at the Whisky A GoGo.
Paul Hodgson – The Parlotones : http://www.theparlotones.net
The Parlotones are a world touring alternative rock band from South Africa. In 2011 I worked with Paul Hodgson to do the custom electric you see in the video above. Paul is playing a solid body Double Cut electric with a quilted maple top and a laminated walnut and maple body and neck (Walnut Special wood package) with an ebony fingerboard. I used my custom preamp and P-90 pickups for a totally custom instrument.
Marshal McLean – Solo Artist and The Horse Thieves
Marshal McLean is an excellent touring musician from Spokane, Washington currently playing guitar and singing with The Horse Thieves. The acoustic he is playing in the above video is a Super Jumbo in Koa with a Redwood Top, mahogany neck and cocobolo finger board, binding and so forth. This wood package has become the MM Special.
Pete Wells – The Perennials
This is Pete Wells of The Perennials on a custom shop MD guitar. This is the Single Cut body style completely customized with a “bent” spalted poplar top and walnut body and neck. Also featuring an acoustic bridge with under saddle pickup along with two humbuckers and a single coil all pumping through an MD preamp.
